It’s almost two in the morning as I write this – although I can no longer blame my clumsy or scatter brained actions on jet lag, I still have no idea why I am wide awake.
I also cannot believe we have been here for 4 weeks exactly – where has the time gone?
It’s been a whirlwind thus far – two adventures to Seoul, all moved into our apartment (but waiting on our stuff, still…), a birthday celebration, making so many new friends, trying not to die in this humidity, and already starting to book trips abroad.
I don’t have much to report other than we are settling in well and keeping busy. I’m learning more about myself everyday, as well as growing confident in tiny abilities: speaking Korean (the basics), driving to new places, and adapting to cultural differences that occur when you move abroad. One thing that still blows my mind – being 14 hours ahead of home!
Side note – can I just brag for a second how Michael and I met ADAM DRIVER (aka Kylo Ren from the new Star Wars, Adam from HBO’s Girls, etc). He happened to be in Osan for a cultural arts & military integration tour, and we woke up early on Saturday to indulge in our inner dorks.
It was such a fun Saturday, and it makes me quite grateful for all the opportunities that come my way.
Anyways, enjoy some random photos from the past few weeks:
Don’t worry – once our stuff arrives, you’ll get a chance to see the complete Seis Haus!
Kisses & Kimchi,
